Patient Transport

Patient Transport is a service provided by G4S on behalf of the NHS Integrated Care Board for Kent and Medway. It is designed to support you if your medical or physical condition means you cannot use public transport, get a lift, or drive yourself to and from your NHS appointment. Patient Transport is a vital resource for those that need it.

  • Our reception is staffed Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 6:30pm.
  • Our practice nurse, Claudia Thurlwell is available 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Out of hours

Enhanced access

Extended hours appointments are available:

  • 7am to 8am on Wednesday morning
  • 6:30pm to 7.30pm on Monday evening
  • 9am to 12.30pm on Saturday 

Sevenoaks urgent treatment centre

Sevenoaks Urgent Treatment Centre, based at Sevenoaks Hospital is open 8am to 8pm 7 days a week, 365 days a year and it now has only one GP providing up to 32 appointment slots per day

The service is suitable for patients for same day appointments that cannot wait 24 hours to be seen.

Patients can be seen by a GP in the UTC either by obtaining an appointment through NHS 111 by asking for a booked appointment, or alternatively signposted to attend as a walk-in.

Life threatening

Call 999 or go to A&E now if:

  • you or someone you know needs immediate help
  • you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose

A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.

Visit an urgent care centre if:

  • You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
